From Venezuela to Europe to the Middle East, Mark Greaney takes the reader on a wild ride with Court Gentry behind the wheel in Relentless.
With the superb writing the Greaney has continuously produced, he has crafted Gentry in the perfect weapon and delivered realistic, pulse-pounding plots that make the pages fly by all too quickly. A new character hops on board with Court, and together, they help form the Poison Apple team, along with some help from characters we’ve met before. You see Court’s past rear its ugly head, which weaves in pieces we’ve learned from the earlier Gray Man novels.
As I’ve came to learn with Greaney’s novels, it is difficult to find a book to read after completing one of his thrillers. The ending always leaves you wanting another high octane book, and it’s a rarity to find one with as much action and adventure packed between the covers.
Although I believe the word “Gray” should be spelled “Grey” (shoutout to my Canadian family), this was still an easy 5-star thriller. Now I just need to find which novel I can follow Relentless up with. Great thriller!
