We get introduced to Alexandra Cassidy in The Tech: a too smart for her own good FBI Special Agent, who is in charge of a rag-tag group of just as equally smart agents. I highly enjoyed The Tech because first and foremost, we have a female lead! In all of the FBI thriller books I’ve read, our lead is male. Cassidy is smart and independent, and she has been thrown around field office to field office. Due to this, she has been exposed to a variety of agents and offices to become the Special Agent she is today.

The day Cassidy reports to her new office, she starts a blistering pace of solving cases. The team are solving cases in record time, and the question hangs over each case of how is this happening? I was constantly asking myself if the force behind solving this was good or bad, and what was the ultimate end game here!

I absolutely loved the blistering pace that is set from the get-go of this book. We jump case to case in an effort to see the grand scheme of things. Be prepared to not hold on to your first impressions in this read. Things are not as they appear!
