After the events of the last novel, Hayley has left Washington D.C. to immerse herself in martial arts training. However, Hayley cannot quail the tenacity within her, and she is off again to uncover the events that lead to her fathers death. With a strange ciphered document found under the kitchen floorboards in her fathers home, Hayley sets off to the Southwest to uncover what this all means.
With the go-ahead from her handler, Hayley uncovers a toxic subculture within the military of white supremacy. As Hayley works to uncover this conspiracy to possibly change the very fabric of this nation she has sworn to protect, can Hayley trust the people she is working with? How deep does this go?
Storm Rising is a whirlwind in-your-face read. I got a kick out of some of the locations that Hayley went to. It’s fun to have a location mentioned in a novel near where you live! It definitely added an extra level for me.
