Chris Hauty is back with a new novella featuring fan favorite Hayley Chill. Hayley is back with all her smarts as the Deeper State’s best agent in Insurrection Day. Hauty beautifully showcases Hayley’s smarts in this installment as she races through the Capital and the streets of DC.
As an insurrection seizes the Capital, Hayley Chill is in the vicinity, and rushes in to help. As she and a Capital Police Officer help a senator and his aids out, Hayley comes to figure out who has truly orchestrated this insurrection on hollowed ground. Hayley must out smart and out run this foe before they take what was stolen from the capital, and deliver it to nefarious hands.
Hauty is great with depictive scenes to where I feel that I am right there running along with Hayley! Outside of the Capital riot, it ended up being a delightful chase read. Hauty expertly sets up what is next for Hayley, and I can’t wait to see what she will be up against next!
