My initial apprehension towards Broken was whether the short stories would be long enough to get me emotionally attached. Each story has a different vibe, with settings ranging from hardcore shootouts and fast cars to incredibly poignant topics that pack an emotional punch equivalent to the sheer force of a raging bull. An empowering assortment of narratives rooted in reality that speak to readers on the most basic level without restricting to any single genre. This is a book you will not forget.
